We are proud to present a brief history of our key employees, and a description of the role of thier teams. Their long-term dedication, experience, and combined knowledge of the title industry, allows U S Title Agency, the ability to cultivate a relationship with our customers and provide the highest quality of service.
Elizabeth Wojtyszyn- Vice-President & Service Team Leader
Liz joined the staff of U S Title in 1977 with a background in the banking industry. In 1994, she was named Vice-president and Service Department Team Leader. She is recognized as an expert in complicated title transactions and does an excellent job in satisfying our large commercial customers.
The service team keeps track of your title work, by staying in touch with the lending institution and other parties involved with the transaction. They are experts at making certain everything is in order, prior to and at the time of recording those important documents. Michael Gerome - Executive Vice-President & Escrow Team Leader
Michael Gerome is the team leader for the Escrow team. U S Title is prepared to meet all your escrow needs, be it a simple residential transaction or the most complex commercial job. Relax and let our escrow team handle the many details of your transaction. Whether you are a buyer, seller, lender or broker, they will keep you apprised of the status of your order. Busy schedule? In 1977, Linda also began her career at U S Title as Administrative Assistant to William T. Boukalik. She was named Office Manager in 1981 and has added the responsibilities of Administrative Team Leader, and Human Resources/Benefits Administrator. In addition, she is the coordinator for policy transmission to our underwriters.
Support is the key word for the administrative team. Companies thrive and depend on an efficient Administrative staff to face head-on the daily details we all take for granted. Payable, receivable, payroll, human resources and benefits administration is only a small part of the responsibilities under the auspice of this team. Our highly organized and detail-oriented members lend support both internally and to our customers. Jim has been with U S Title since he graduated from John Carroll University in 1977. While working full time he continued his education and in 1986 earned a Law Degree from Cleveland Marshall Law School. Jim has examined in almost all of the counties in Northeast Ohio and many other counties in the state. He is Vice President, Title Officer and Exam Department Team Leader.
With a combined total of over 112 years experience in title examining, our Exam team knows their stuff! U S Title's in-house automated title plant reveals in a matter of minutes, a chain of title for your order. In addition, further information is provided by our support staff located at the County Administration Building. 1986 brought Dan on-board to our staff, with a solid background in computers. He has pioneered the successful automation of our Title Plant and our current Network System. Dan has developed several unique software applications for the title plant, document preparation and closing and personnel. As MIS Director and Data Entry Team Leader, Dan continues to make significant contributions to our success story.
We consider our Data Entry Team to be the "heartbeat" of the Company. Our conscientious staff of locators and keyers are busy building and maintaining the foundation of information on which our Title Plant and our business is made possible. Imaging is the latest technology in the title industry and our team members prepare and image all court document and maps for use in conjunction with our plant software. Mella started at U S Title in 1988. Promoted to Operations Officer in 1994, she is the Pre-Exam Department Team Leader. She is also in charged with filling our plant customers needs. Her expertise and knowledge insures a smooth and efficient transition of your title order from inception into the next phase of title work.
All title order work begins with our Pre-Exam Team. Whether you have ordered a simple legal description or a complex exam, our Pre-Exam team is on staff to "get the ball rolling". They are responsible for entering the preliminary information into our computer database, and prep your deal for its title exam and ultimate servicing. They will order a survey, contact the appropriate municipality and with on-line capabilities obtain the latest available tax information for your deal.
